The Age of Industry
After reading all about ancient history and the middle ages and so on in, I was immediately fascinated with the industrial revolution when we got to that part of our studies at school. It was a time when a person could have learned pretty much all that was to know about current human understanding by graduating from a university and a time when this human knowledge was the source of miraculous advances that most of the world could hardly have thought of about a decade before. It was, however, also a time of great hardship for a lot of people as the demands of industry changed the way people lived and labored like never before. That last part is what I thought about when I drew this work.

Student and Teacher
Here's something for a story I posted on http://arcanotheca.blogspot.com/
I plan to write more stories of hidden magic (with matching art) as I make them.

Blast From the Past
Back to the Webcomic!

Gamer Art
Here's an NPC character I made for a tabletop RPG I was running for my friends some time ago. Handmaiden Misha, I called it. It seems a bit silly in retrospect but so are most things and I guess it's art so I'll post it here.
Oh, and to that artist friend of mine from college who recognizes this character and who also used to hang around with us gamers but never once gamed with us, email me at meowaffles@gmail.com (You know who you are)
If I recall correctly, you're one of the people who wanted me to post my work online so here. Oh, and check out my webcomic www.catkungfu.thecomicseries.com/

The Oneironaut
I'm reading this book entitled "Supernatural" "Meetings with the ancient teachers of mankind". It's a fairly heavy read but really quite interesting. I can tell that the author put a lot of work into the book and didn't just pull stuff out of thin air then proclaim himself an authority on the subject matter. This guy actually did his homework and then some. Kudos to Graham Hancock.

30 Minute Artwork
What kind of art can you make in 30 minutes of doodling around?
Since I usually spend lots of time making digital art, I asked myself that question and then challenged myself to make interesting works of art in 30 minutes or less. Here's some of the stuff I came up with.
Egg Animals!
The Abstractigator!
Space Fish Monster! This one took a bit over 30 minutes though.

My Very Own Webcomic
I feel it's only fair to make my first post about my own webcomic; not to get more hits or anything but because it's probably the main reason I'm making an all new blog for all my personal art. I fully intend to remake my other blogs as well.
Anyway, for anyone who's interested in comics, kung fu, odd highschool romance stories, martial arts, and maybe cats check out www.catkungfu.thecomicseries.com/
Be warned, the webcomic is still in its infancy.
